I have included the video tape of the tour of the caverns and it may be viewed by clicking on the link at the left (Tour The Caverns) It is in the Real Video format. I have encoded it in story book mode so as to enable the best quality with 28k modems. Enjoy!!! PLEASE NOTE!!! Climbing in or around the caves and or formations is a violation of the Montana Cave Conservation Act. If you visit here, please do not do it, and make sure your children do not do it, as this type of activity can render the formations dead. In order to fully understand why, please watch the Tour Of The Caverns, or go and take the tour for yourself. Thankyou! I have put the best pictures I have of the Lewis and Clark Caverns here. Located halfway between Butte and Bozeman Montana, this is a must see if you visit here. The tour is 2 hours long and worth it! The caverns are located deep within a mountain. This was a good test for the "night shot" feature of the Sony camcorder. As far as I am concerned, it passed with five stars!
This is just east of Butte Montana.
Hollow Top Mountain. Snow!
On the way up to the caverns.
This is the path that leads to the caverns.
This was the closest we ever got to a deer. He was standing next to the path leading up to the caverns.
And he was hungry!
This is looking down from the path.
Talk about scenic.
This is the path we walked up on from that building in the foreground. And it was quite a hike!

It is now almost pitch black in here. This is a picture of JR from over 15' away!

Another night shot view.
And another.

This is Cathy, our tour guide. She was great!
This completes the section about the Lewis and Clark Caverns. I would encourage anyone that comes anywhere close to here to take the tour! Next are a few pictures of getting lost in the mountains. Still day eight.
