To Butte Day 7

Day seven takes us from Glasgow Montana to Butte Montana. It was a nice ride and very scenic. Along the way, JR and I stopped at Fort Benton. It is a historical landmark because Lewis and Clark traveled through here along the Missouri River.

I honestly don't remember the name of this mountain range but we could see it from Chester Montana. Could be the Sweetgrass Range.

Real Scenic! Just outside of Helena Montana, the State Capital.

A great deal of rock was blasted away to make the mountain passes around here.

Day eight was interesting. We had a great tour of the Lewis and Clark Caverns. Then we got lost in National Forest, just south of Red Lodge Montana, and ended up in Cody Wyoming!
